This week was busy and productive, and the weather was all over the place. We’ve gone from spring to winter again, but it looks like things will warm up for the weekend. I’m looking forward to catching up on sleep and maybe finishing a book, too. Here are a few things that caught my eye this week.

I miss seeing old buildings like that! Our downtown only has a few historic buildings left. They actually pulled down the siding on one (in order to cover it up with tin siding again) and just catching a glimpse of the brick underneath was refreshing.
Smithville’s main street is small and mostly deserted, but they do film a lot of movies there.
