Style USA: Modavanti
I’m back from my beach vacation and it was a really lovely week! I’ll tell you more about it in a different post, but it feels great to get back to my regular blogging schedule. The subject of this week’s Style USA profile is Modavanti, an online retailer that focuses on sustainable style in all forms. You can actually shop by different categories including Fair Trade, Handmade, and Made in America, and I’ve chosen two American-made dresses to share with you.
The Ships at Midnight Shoreline Dress by Feral Childe is a gorgeous dress with a whimsical nautical pattern. The fabric is recycled cotton waste and the piece was made in New York City. I love everything about this dress and now I’m curious to see more from Feral Childe’s line.
The Darted Shell Dress by Archerie is perfect for summer and also has a nautical feel with a pretty triangular pattern. Archerie’s pieces are also made in New York City and are 100% cotton, which is perfect for this time of year.
While I picked two American-made dresses to feature in this post, Modavanti has literally thousands of clothing items and accessories that follow the guidelines of the store’s mission statement. I definitely encourage you to visit Modavanti and peruse their fashionable, sustainable pages.
That dress on the right is so cute! Welcome back. 🙂
They have some great finds. And thank you. 🙂
Love that Feral Childe dress. How cool that it’s recycled cotton.
It’s really amazing and the fabric is adorable.
