(Birthday goodies for my mom.)

(I know I said I’m scaling back my posting, but I decided to post at least three to five times a week, as the mood strikes, so I hope you’ll follow along.)

We celebrated my mom’s birthday over the weekend, and she is very hard to shop for.  She gives the best birthday gifts and loves to spoil my sisters and me, so I wanted to return the favor.  For our birthdays, my mom often picks a theme and presents us with a package of tiny treats, which are so much fun to unwrap and enjoy.  I used her idea, and found this lovely bag from K IS FOR BLACK on Society6.  Since my mom and I have similar taste, I knew she’d love this tote as much as I do.  In fact, I really want one for myself.

My mom also loves beauty products, and it’s her fault that I’m such a junkie.  I decided to share a few of my current favorites with her, so I added a lip balm from Pangea Organics, a tube of Lollipop Lip Butter by Revlon, a bar of French soap from a local home decor shop, and a bottle of Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Polish in Pink Pineapple, which I have yet to try.  I also found a few other small items, and wrapped everything in tissue paper inside the bag.

I love giving gifts, even when the recipient is hard to shop for, and my mom was really happy with her new treats.
