Basic Black
I wear a lot of black and other solid colors these days, but I’ve had my eye on this blouse by Mata Traders for months. I finally ordered it in time for my birthday, and wore it out for brunch one Sunday morning recently. The boys spent that weekend with my parents, and Ryan and I did a bunch of work in our backyard the day before, so we celebrated with a yummy breakfast at Noble Sandwiches, a local place that serves simple and delicious meals made from scratch.
The On Tour top is very comfy and versatile, and while my favorite look utilizes my trusty black skirt and belt, it also works well with jeans and will be perfect with a cardigan this fall. The hand block print is classic Mata Traders and the fabric is cotton, which is ideal for summer and layering in cooler months, too.
I almost passed on this top because I worried about the fit, but it is really flattering and I’m so thrilled that I bought it.
You look great! We wanted to go to Noble Sandwiches, but the GPS put us out in a random field. Hopefully, we’ll make it out there soon with proper directions! 🙂
Thank you! We went to the one right next to Pinthouse Pizza. There’s one in Round Rock, but I’m not sure where.
It’s a lovely top! I have a thing for prints with black backgrounds. <3 It looks great on you and looks like it could go with anything. 🙂
Thank you, Anna! I’m really happy I bought it. 🙂
Basic but not boring! Looks great with the belt.
Thank you! 🙂
I love Mata Traders! Can’t wait to buy more from them. In fact, I might browse the sale section right now… That top is very classy and looks great on you. Also, I love the name “Noble Sandwiches”, that cracks me up for some reason.
I love Mata Traders, too! And Noble Sandwiches used to be called “The Noble Pig,” but I think they had to change the name for licensing reasons.
That sounds great that you two could enjoy a day boy free just to yourselves! And I agree, the top really does look great on you, I esp love the belt w/ it too and can def see it being infinitely remix-able come fall (when does fall decide to come over here btw?).
Thanks so much! I have worn this top so much this summer. Sometimes we get lucky and it is cold in November, but our coldest month is usually February.
