Style USA: Karen Kane
I had a lot of fun researching my recent series, Anthro: USA, and I’ve decided to expand upon that idea by featuring more American-made brands from time to time. My goal is to show you how easy it is to add responsible purchases to your wardrobe, because I really believe, as consumers, we can make a statement with what we buy.
Karen Kane is the first store I’m featuring, and I’ve shown you a few of the pieces I own in the past, a pair of denim leggings and a navy lace dress. Karen Kane manufactures 80% of its products in the United States, and is consistently working to improve conditions for employees. While exploring the site, I found this video that offers more information about the company.
I’ve chosen three different pieces to share with you, and I’m a big fan of their casual and dressier things, too.
I love the Riviera Lace Top for its pretty take on the current sweatshirt trend. With the added lace, it’s an elegant option for every day.
The London Motorcycle Jacket is edgy and fun, and I love the artistic details including the asymmetrical collar and touches of leather.
The Lace Top Fit and Flare Dress is such a lovely staple for your closet, and it’s very elegant and timeless. Karen Kane has a wide selection of dresses in various styles from casual to cocktail, and the styles are flattering on all body types.
I hope to feature more domestically made designers periodically, and feel free to suggest stores and brands that you’d like to see, too.
I love that dress! Perfect for this time of year. 🙂
Her dresses are so great!
