It felt good to get back to a regular week after the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving, and we’ve only got one more before things kick into full holiday swing around here.\u00a0 We’re expecting some really cold weather this weekend, and it will be nice to relax and stay snuggled up inside.\u00a0 Here are a few things that caught my attention this week.<\/p>\n

First, remembering Nelson Mandela through music<\/a> and pictures<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Black T-Shirt Campaign<\/a>, a new movement against modern-day slavery.<\/p>\n

A great list<\/a> of independent artists, designers, and crafters.<\/p>\n

“I’ve worked at McDonald’s for 5 years and have 4 kids.”<\/a><\/p>\n

Porsches and babies<\/a> are totally different things.<\/p>\n

Lots of television shows are influencing baby names<\/a>.\u00a0 (I sometimes call my tyrannical, blonde three-year-old, “Joffrey<\/a>.”)<\/p>\n

Being a dad<\/a> is hard. Birthday parties<\/a> are hard.\u00a0 Three kids<\/a> is hard.\u00a0 Dying is easy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And how I really feel about The Sound of Music<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0 So sorry.<\/p>\n
