(Fall flowers.)<\/p><\/div>\n

This weekend was really wonderful.\u00a0 I love Ryan and the boys, but sometimes it’s nice to have a little peace and quiet for myself, and that’s exactly what I got.\u00a0 We drove James and Rhys down to stay with my parents for the weekend, and Ryan was busy attending a local beer festival and preparing for his new job.\u00a0 I came down with a bit of cedar fever, so I spent both days snuggled on the couch, reading, watching new episodes of Say Yes to the Dress<\/em> on Netflix, browsing the internet, drinking tons of tea, and just relaxing.\u00a0 My kind of perfect weekend.<\/p>\n

This week we’ll start adjusting to Ryan’s new work schedule and the boys will be busy with their school activities.\u00a0 I’m feeling more rested than I’ve felt in months, despite my scratchy throat, and I’m ready to tackle the days ahead.<\/p>\n

I try to remember to take time for myself each day, and Ryan is awesome about sharing parenting duties and chores.\u00a0 But sometimes, it’s nice to have an entire weekend to yourself with no responsibilities or demands.<\/p>\n
