When I first starting writing about fair trade products, I was contacted by Katie Schmidt<\/a>, the founder of Passion Lilie<\/a>, a new line of fair trade, ethically-made clothing and accessories for women.\u00a0 Katie has a background in fashion and uses her interest to make positive changes in the world, through educating and empowering women artisans<\/a>.\u00a0 The result of her endeavor is Passion Lilie, which just released its beautiful fall collection.\u00a0 Some of the pieces are vintage-inspired, and I rounded up a few of my favorite looks to share with you.<\/p>\n

My most favorite piece is “The Lucille Dress,”<\/a> named for Lucille Ball.\u00a0 I especially love the hand block print and the swingy skirt.<\/p>\n

The “Rosie the Riveter” Dress<\/a> is another great option in a vintage style that is easy to wear on a hot summer day, but could also adapt easily to fall when paired with tights and a cardigan.\u00a0 The subtle striped skirt is adorable, and I love the overall skirt-and-blouse look, with the ease of a cotton dress.<\/p>\n

The “Paris by Night” Dress<\/a> is an exceptional piece, and the details, which include an attached tie and side pockets, really make it a stunner.\u00a0 The print itself is gorgeous, and the black scoop collar gives it a bit of edginess, too.<\/p>\n

The “New York” Skirt<\/a> is perfect for fall, and can be dressed up or down, too.\u00a0 My favorite part is the contrasting grey pocket that works so well with the gorgeous print.<\/p>\n
