(My Olioboard<\/a> for Chairish<\/a>.)<\/p><\/div>\n

Chairish<\/a>, the online marketplace for “pre-loved decor,” recently asked me to pick from a selection of brightly colored accent chairs and then design a room around my choice.\u00a0 While I love devouring design blogs and trying my hand at decorating my own home, I’ve never created a design board for my blog before.\u00a0 It was a really fun challenge and I had a wonderful time creating this sitting room featuring the Green High Back Tufted Broyhill Chairs.<\/a><\/p>\n

Chairish is a wonderful source for previously owned furniture and decor, and you can find things in all price ranges.\u00a0 I let my imagination run wild and found many wonderful pieces for my pretend sitting room.\u00a0 The chairs are definitely Mid-Century, but they have a bit of a French Country feel too, with the ornately carved details on the sides of each chair.\u00a0 The gorgeous ivory console table<\/a> is a perfect place to store books and drinks while relaxing in the room.\u00a0 I added a lovely floral rug<\/a> and platinum curtains from West Elm<\/a> (the only item not carried at Chairish) as the neutral backdrop for the chairs.\u00a0 The vintage marble side tables<\/a> pair perfectly with the carved chairs and the pewter table lamps<\/a> are a nod to the Mid-Century feel of the room.\u00a0 The velvet pillows<\/a> help to pull a bit of color from the rug and the mirrors<\/a> and vases<\/a> add a bit of shine and elegance to the board, as well.<\/p>\n

I wanted something chic and formal with a vintage feel, and I’m really happy with the overall look. This was a really fun project and I enjoyed it so much that I might try another design board soon, just for fun!<\/p>\n
