I’ve been slow to try the sweatshirt trend, maybe because it’s usually a little casual for my taste. Plus, the word sweatshirt <\/em>is kind of gross.\u00a0 But I saw this short sleeved version<\/a> by Everlane and it intrigued me.\u00a0 I’m hot-natured, and the idea of a short sleeve sweatshirt for Texas’ weird springtime weather is perfect.<\/p>\n

I tried it out Sunday for a casual lunch at our favorite pizza place.\u00a0 The weather was brisk and windy, and the temperature dropped throughout the day.\u00a0 I was comfortable in the sweatshirt, and to dress it up a little, I paired it with a sparkly necklace and my new black flats.\u00a0 I felt very relaxed, but also pulled together.\u00a0 The sweatshirt is a bit thick for my taste, like a normal sweatshirt, and I’m wondering if a few more washings might soften it up quite a bit.\u00a0 It’s really comfortable, and I think I’ll get a lot of wear from it, especially with our current weather pattern.<\/p>\n

It’s beginning to feel like spring, but mornings are still pretty chilly.\u00a0 Our trees are beginning to bud, though, and spring is definitely in the air.<\/p>\n
