This week was really busy and went by so fast!\u00a0 My mom had knee surgery and we visited her in San Antonio, and we’re hoping to go down again on Saturday.\u00a0 We had a really strange windstorm that knocked out our power on Monday and caused chaos all over Austin. And, I finally set a date for a blog-related event I’m hosting, and I can’t wait to tell you about it soon!\u00a0 Here are a few things that caught my attention this week.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the wind, my sister sent me this video<\/a> and it is so well done.<\/p>\n

This story<\/a> of an exiled singer is quite touching and sad.\u00a0 Her music is lovely, too.<\/p>\n

And, now that March has finally arrived, I’m taking the next big blogging step and working with a graphic designer to re-design my blog!\u00a0 I’m so excited about this chance, and I’m really looking forward to it.\u00a0 Check out this honest post<\/a> from my designer, Kory Woodard.\u00a0 It’s something I’m thinking about lately as I decide which direction I’d like to go with writing.<\/p>\n
