This is a picture, taken by Ryan, of my old, red wagon at my parents’ house.\u00a0 I realize it’s not a red wheelbarrow, but when I saw it, I immediately thought of this poem by William Carlos Williams<\/a>.<\/p>\n

so much depends<\/p>\n

upon<\/p>\n

a red wheel<\/p>\n

barrow<\/p>\n

glazed with rain<\/p>\n

water<\/p>\n

beside the white<\/p>\n

chickens.<\/p>\n

I also think I must have poetry on the brain right now, which isn’t a bad way to start the New Year.\u00a0 I hope you enjoy this simple poem and picture as you celebrate the beginning of 2013!<\/p>\n
